Catch some tunes while you relax in our cozy outdoor living room in the alley east of 94 Street. The CommuniTEA mobile tea house provides a nice cup of tea (for free!) and performers will tickle your ears with music.

Feature: Front Porch Music Series

A new addition to the festival, the Front Porch Music Series invites local musicians to perform a 45 minute set on the porches and balconies of homes in the neighborhood. Be sure to check it out!

Feature: Basketball, Hip Hop and Street Art

Saturday & Sunday Noon – 6:00 pm | Slam Dunk Exhibition both days at 3:00 pm | 91 St & 118 Ave (Side Streets)

Drop in and shoot hoops, slam dunk and rock a 3-point challenge competition. Sharpen your skills with the NAIT Ooks, (winners of the 2016 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship) and Andrew G. Parker (coach of the M.E. Lazerte Voyageurs). Daily slam dunk exhibition at 3:00pm! Right next to the Rhythm Speaks Hip Hop Tent featuring Edmonton hip hop artists and street art by student artists from Highlands School.

Feature: Chalk It Up with 3D Chalk Artist, Ian Morris

Friday: 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday Noon – 6:00pm
93 St & 118 Ave

We are thrilled to welcome back chalk artist Ian Morris from Victoria, BC. He will be creating a large two-dimensional image that will create the illusion of 3D, especially when you look through a camera! Come be a part of the chalk art fun and create your own masterpiece in the Chalk It Up Zone. Local artists Trina Lewis and Jay Bigam will be creating alongside festival-goers. Sidewalk chalk provided.
