Before kicking off the Aurora Lantern Parade, Klusterfunk (8:00 pm)will launch the party and get you groovin’! Join the lantern parade, performers and festival-goers as we dance, sing, drum and laugh together. Follow the light to My Son the Hurricane, as they kickoff the festival with their unique mix of New Orleans style grooves with funk, jazz and hip hop on the Avenue Central Stage.

Forgot your lantern? Create one with your friends and family at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts (9225 – 118 Ave). Open 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm. Or become an audience member as the street gets its rhythm and awakens.
