Dana Wylie is a Canadian Blues Music Award nominee, a Canadian Folk Music Award nominee, and – with her roots/soul supergroup Secondhand Dreamcar – a JUNO nominee. She is a singer of rare gift and a crafter of deeply felt and sharply observed songs, praised by Penguin Eggs magazine as the only artist about whom they have “felt comfortable comparing favourably to Joni Mitchell in the scope of her talent EVER.” Dana’s 2017 record The Earth That You’re Made Of earned her a CFMA nomination for Contemporary Singer of the Year, and was described by journalist and programmer Peter North as “one of the finest contemporary roots recordings to have ever been produced in Alberta, period.” She debuted her critically-acclaimed theatrical song-cycle Makings of a Voice in 2021, released her sixth solo album How Much Muscle in early 2023, as well an album of original country duets with Sammy Volkov in 2024. Her band Secondhand Dreamcar’s debut album Answer the Call received a 2025 JUNO nomination for Blues Album of the Year and three Canadian Blues Music Awards nominations, including Female Vocalist of the Year for Dana, and their new album Get Ready will be released in Fall 2026.

Sam Steffen is a folk musician and singer-songwriter whose songs are torch-wood for a new generation of folk music that has learned from the best stuff in the tradition. Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sam's versatile musicianship, finger-picking, and storytelling have made him an outstanding voice in the Americana folk genre. Newly arrived to Edmonton, Alberta from the US, he’s been writing songs for over a decade, now, and has collected a vast arsenal of original music that ranges from the personal to the political.

The Ukeclectics (say yoo-klek-tix) are a lively group of unpretentious ukulele performers and singers regularly playing in Edmonton and area. We love fun music from any era, and like to put our own spin on things. We started as the CKUA house band, and slowly mutated to our present form. We've played Kaleido several times before, and love the Carrot Outdoor Living Room street tent location.

The Larks are a fantastic, friendly group of women who love to sing! They meet on a Monday evening at Alberta Avenue Community League and are all about the fun and the community! No audition is required and anyone who identifies as a woman can join, no experience necessary! The choir have only been singing together for a year but are already making an awesome sound and are super excited to share that sound with the Kaleido Festival goers!

Winter Art Glass | Duckkhardt | Cozy Bear Crochet

We are a family owned and operated Stained Glass studio committed to teaching the craft and creating some fun things! Always pushing the boundaries while honoring traditional techniques. We will be bringing a variety of stained glass pieces ranging from small plant stakes to larger panels. As an illustrator by trade, I love to capture a feeling in my work, be it a portrait of a beloved pet or a stained glass sun-catcher that adds just the right amount of sparkle to a space. Always curious about how things work I tend to incorporate that into my work as well, pushing mediums past the defined boundaries and adding just a bit of whimsy.

Jana Angulalik

Jana Kadlugak Angulalik is an Inuinnait/Copper Inuk from Cambridge Bay, Nunavut where she was raised by her mother, Aopak. She is a mother of 2, a traditional handpoke tattoo artist, a throat singer, Inuit drummer and story teller, an Inuit cultural educator and consultant. She is a freelance writer, multimedia artist and loves sharing her culture and bringing people together.
