Autumn is a welcoming time for communities to share the richness of their heritage and traditions. Join a cultural celebration that includes the artisans, music, and dance of Indigenous peoples. Gather with us on Saturday at 1:15pm for an Elder Opening Prayer.

It is with great joy that we welcome you to Takwakin Village, a gathering place celebrating Indigenous (FNMI) cultures, traditions, stories, and community.
As the new Indigenous Program Coordinator, I am passionate about creating spaces where Indigenous, art, music, and storytelling can be experienced with respect.
Takwakin Village is a place of connection - to the land, to our communities, to our ancestors, and to one another. We are committed to creating an inclusive space with a deep foundation of traditional culture. Come on in, explore the village, and share in the celebration.
