Jana Kadlugak Angulalik is an Inuinnait/Copper Inuk from Cambridge Bay, Nunavut where she was raised by her mother, Aopak. She is a mother of 2, a traditional handpoke tattoo artist, a throat singer, Inuit drummer and story teller, an Inuit cultural educator and consultant. She is a freelance writer, multimedia artist and loves sharing her culture and bringing people together.
