The Frolics

Saturday, September 14th @ 8:00 pm
The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse | 9351 - 118 Ave

Formed on a sultry southern night in East Nashville in 2007, The Frolics blend elements of surf (Dick Dale), punk (Dead Kennedys), and camp (The Cramps, The B-52’s). This shaken (not stirred) trio yields a potent mix of what they like to call ‘B-Movie Bombshell Surf – with a Twang’. Amy plays bass like the devil and sings like an angel; Scott channels Dick Dale and Joe Strummer into his guitar; Ali D vibes behind the drum kit à la Gina Schock. With five self-released albums and a handful of singles under their belt The Frolics deliver a beachy buffet of dance, sizzle, and grit... Catch the wave!

Kaleido Family Arts Festival is a free festival, donations are gratefully accepted.
