Mazur Polish Canadian Dancers of Edmonton Society was established for the purpose of providing a creative and enticing learning environment for school age children and youth. To lively traditional Polish music, children are taught the intricate dance steps and choreography of traditional folk dances from various regions of Poland.

Passin’ Through present an eclectic, roots mix of—and for—the ages, one that proved popular last summer as they made their Blueberry debut. Passin' Through brings together a treasure trove of seasoned performers. Spanning a generation and the width of Canada from Alberta to the Maritimes, each member brings decades of experience to the stage. Members of Passin’ Through play an array of instruments, and audiences are consistently impressed by their interchanging vocal harmonies, with their drive, energy, and incredible upbeat vibe guarantee an uplifting, interactive listening experience. Passin’ Through’s genuine love of music is a joy they are pleased to share again with the Blueberry audience.

The Larks!

The Larks are a fantastic, friendly group of women who love to sing! They meet on a Monday evening at Alberta Avenue Community League and are all about the fun and the community! No audition is required and anyone who identifies as a woman can join, no experience necessary! The choir have only been singing together for a year but are already making an awesome sound and are super excited to share that sound with the Kaleido Festival goers!

The Ukeclectics are a group of music lovers who gather with ukuleles and a cajon to make music and FUN! They play a selection of greatest hits across the decades. Singing along and dancing is encouraged! The desired audience experience is FUN! The Ukecletics have a good time and so does the audience. They have been donating their performances at Kaleido and other community organizations to do their part to help the community and spread cheer.

Punjabi Folk Dance Academy

The most popular and well established folk dance academy and the creation of Mr. Gursewak Singh Sidhu was created to promote and preserve the punjabi culture and dance. He is a 2 time gold medalist in the event of Individual folk dance Competition of World Level, organized by Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, Llangollen, Wales U.K. in July 2004 & July 2006.Gursewak Singh Sidhu earned the privilege to judge the top bhangra competitions in America,Canada and India like Jashan Bhangra in 2011 and 2012, and Motor City Bhangra in 2015 and 2016. Gursewak Sidhu is working in this field from last 24 years.
