Mikayla Bortscher weaves magic with her thought-provoking and powerful lyrics. Accompanied by a 36 string folk lever harp, Mikayla brings wonder and awe to her audiences. Talesa has been singing and playing piano for 28 years, since the young age of 4, starting her music journey in Music For Young Children's classes and then graduating into Royal Conservatory of Music. Talesa took a liking to making music at her church and singing in choirs at her schools, and those passions are what lead her to the majority of the work she seeks out in her professional career today. Being a graduate of Victoria School of Performing Arts, she was inspired to continue on to Grant MacEwan's Music Program majoring in Jazz and Contemporary Piano Performance. Today, you'll see Talesa singing and playing for many choirs and schools throughout the city of Edmonton and surrounding area (of note: EKO Singers, Accord Ensemble, Nuf Sed and FORM of the TIME Association, Kikimasu of the Korora [previously Kokopelli] Association, Memorial Composite High School choirs, Victoria School choirs, MD at Ross Sheppard for their spring Musical), Music Directing at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, accompanying for solo instruments and vocalists, performing in a band with her friends "Mallory and the Mystics", and freelancing in many various other capacities.

Ava Nayana is an emerging 18 year-old pop and R&B singer/songwriter from St. Albert whose influences include Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Adele, and Rihanna. Ava has a particular passion for performing live, and during each performance, she aspires to establish a personal emotional connection with each listener in their own unique circumstance. Ava's music can be found on her website and on all music streaming services.
Jia Jia Yong is a harpist and composer. She performs as a freelance musician at various events in Edmonton and area and also enjoys developing collaborative projects with other musicians and artists.
Jia Jia is excited to be part of several events at the Kaleido Festival this year. She will be performing with Nanyen Lau, who plays the erhu, on Friday evening at the Carrot Coffeehouse. On Saturday evening, Jia Jia will provide solo harp music at the Stollery Gallery. On Sunday, Jia Jia is collaborating with Chinese calligraphy artist, Paul Giang, on a live music and calligraphy performance installation exploring the Chinese character for 'heart'.

Terry McDade, with a singular style, is taking the Concert Harp to a new and vibrant place.......including Pop & Jazz favorites! Terry, along with The McDades, has performed with the ESO, many Royal Visits & for various Lieutenant Governors of Alberta . He has performed through out Canada, the U.S & in China and has recorded four critically acclaimed CDs to date; Harpe Danse, Midwinter, Noel and 2011’s Winter Rose. Terry is also featured on recordings by his children with their Juno Award winning group, The McDades.

Zack grew up in Sherwood Park, playing (and practicing!) piano since the age of 5. Classically trained in Royal Conservatory, he often participated in the Sherwood Park music festivals and was an active leader in his high school band program. Currently, he is studying jazz at MacEwan University as a composition major, and enjoys listening to a wide variety of genres from jazz and classical all the way to J-rock and alternative. When not studying, Zack teaches at the Sherwood Park School of Music in hopes to develop his student’s skills so they can learn the joy of music!
Eric Yaremko is a Ukrainian-Canadian musician from Edmonton Alberta. A pianist of 21 years with a background in classical training, he is also a singer and guitar player, a songwriter, performer, and co-writer. His sound oscillates across many genres including folk, pop, classical, traditional Irish, Ukrainian pop and R&B. He has been performing around Edmonton for 8 years and has performed in countries including Ireland, Norway and the United States.
