Juno Award winning composer Vivian Fung grew up on Alberta Avenue. Now a Juilliard alumni, she returns to her roots and her composition will be played from the rooftop of her parent’s building on Alberta Ave. The Canadian Premiere of her electronic cello composition “Humanoid” will be performed by principal cellist of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Rafael Hoekman.

UNITY is circular arrangement of 32 poles. Each pole is labeled with an identifier. With yarn, participants tie to each pole with which they identify. A canopy of interconnectedness forms as more people participate. In the end, we see that we are all connected by something. #UNITY #KALEIDOING

The Stephen Stone Marimba Band is a concept centered around the use of three people on one marimba. However, it may include other instruments, such as drum set, hand drums, vibraphone, glockenspiel, and auxiliary percussion instruments.They are open to exploring all styles of music, including pop, rock, jazz, classical world music.

Traditional Chinese dance brings ancient cultural stories to life.

Mabel Wong is known as a co-founder of the Guofeng Chinese Dance Club, she was part of the trio that has won many awards including Winner of the 9th North America Chinese Dancing Competition. In 2007 she founded the Xiao Hai Ou Dance Group, which has been highly popular since inception. The group has seen a constant growth over the years, and the Mabel Dance Academy was founded to accommodate for more students including adults.
